Josie has revealed that a mixture of claustrophobia and missing her former housemates were the reasons behind her leaving the house.
During her interview on Big Brother's Little Brother, she tells George Lamb and Emma Willis about the moment she left the compound and saw John James.
"I thought he was one of security and I was like get on, then I realised it was John," she explained.
When asked to elaborate on why she departed the house, Josie said: "I've never ever actually felt like that before, I felt claustrophobic. I was missing all my old housemates, I felt paranoid... I just had to get out of there."
She went on to say that she would never be able to understand why she was chosen to go into the house. "For you to be chosen out of all those people, I just can't get my head around it and I don't think anybody will ever be able to get their head around something like that,".
Speaking about the moment when she realised that she wanted to leave the house, Josie described how she felt extremely claustrophobic while in bed. "I was laying in bed last night and I was looking at the walls and they were coming closer and closer to my face and at one point the wall was touching my nose... so at that point I realised that I was going a bit potty and I had to go,".
Josie then revealed what John James said to her once they were reunited: "He said that he loved me and everything like that." She also expanded on why she found her second stint in the house so difficult.
"I think the problem was I'd left. I'd seen all my friends and family and I'd seen everyone I love the most and then I had to go back in and then when I went back in, it was brilliant the first night... there was some good people in that house, but when you feel that claustrophobic and so trapped - I was shaking and I've never felt like that before," she said.
she then added that the best bit of her Big Brother experience was meeting John James, and she concluded by revealing who she would like to win Ultimate Big Brother. "It's a mix up between Brian or Ulrika really, they are brilliant people."
