Starting at day 5 when john was describing the kind of woman he is interested in josie was saying that she thought he would fancy corin he goes on to say that he doesnt really go for stunning, stunning girls. josie reply's with a funny look a laugh and says "So your saying there is a chance"
john laughs and says "of course there is a chance".
.then days went of with continuous flirting and complements.
on day 25 the pair went into the diaryroom and sang the song “I’ve Got a Brand New Combine Harvester”. after they sang john signed i love you to josie and she signed back also. then signed again saying " I love you 2"
they had many arguments while in the house and john always got really upset when josie wasnt speaking to him he couldn't handle her not talking to him.
when new housemate JJ’s entered the house John James put on the football shirt that Josie had made clear that she fancied him in. Mario points out, “Someone feels threatened.” as he gave a very embarrassed and happy Joise a hug.
which, to me, was the biggest signal that he did, in fact, fancy Josie. That night he whispered, “I love you Jose” as they fell asleep together also showed as josie was shocked and asked what he said,
John " I love you Jose"
Josie " Did you just say something"
John "Yea"
Josie " What did you say"
John " I said I love you Joise"
Josie " Oh i love you too John hmmmmmm".
Ben pointed out in the early weeks, that John followed Josie around like a lost lamb. Ben also told Josie, he thought their friendship was more one-sided, with John showing far more interest than Josie.
when Josie did revel that she did fancy john, Johns reaction was a confused i dont know what to do reaction with his late night diary room entry on Day 43 saying that he didn’t really see Josie “in that way” that caused people to doubt him in later weeks.
John always said that they should wait until they were out of the house to act on their feelings. to make sure that they felt the same way when they got out.
